    785 wiring help

I need a little help with a ground wire. It's a single black wire coming from the stator and has two eyelets on it. Where do I connect them?

And while I'm at it, my coils are not mounted...just sitting in the box. The starter relay is also loose. Is this correct?

The coils just get a metal plate that holds them in place and the grounds go to the stud for the plate that overs the coil and the other half goes to the other side ot the electrical box there should be a stud there also

i can get a pic if you need

Yeah, that's what I figured. I put one end on the "coil mounting plate" and the other end on the stud on the negative bus bar. Polaris didn't skimp on grounds.
