Will I have to remove the waterbox????

Im here trying to install the riva sponson and of course something HAS to go wrong. THere are 3 of the torx screws that dont wanna come out the easy way. Two on the intercooler side and one on the waterbox side. Now, the one on the waterbox side is the last one to the rear of the ski!!! Do I have to take the waterbox of to get to the nut on there?

so u think maybe the whole insert and internal hardware is spinning as ur trying to loosen the torx bolt on the outside?

that sucks... u shouldnt have to touch anything inside the ski for sponson swaps. is the bolt on the outside turning/spinning or it's not even budging?

THe bolt on the outside is spinning together with the hardware. I messed up the head putting pressure on it and the torx tool will just spin inside the torx head

Try using a grinder and grind the head off. . . if its not spinning and the head is just stripped go to Sears and get a bolt-out kit.
