    Exclamation foam inserts ???

are these located in the front of the ski where the air tubes are in the front of the ski?

what is the benefit of removing them?

i have seen guys talk about the being removed but, never heard why they did that.

There were issues with the foam blocking the intake of air causing a vacuum in the hull

if you remove the front panel going from the front storage area to the engine compartment. do you still have that problem.
also people who had this problem with a vacuum in the engine compartment, was it with an aftermarket airbox, like the riva.
reason i say riva is by its design it looks like it could get clogged due to how it is hidden in the engine compartment.

I have to disagree with this. Mine have been out since day 1 and I do a heck of a lot of wave jumping. I have had zero issues with water getting in at all. At first I was a little paranoid that water would get in but it almost never happens and when it does, the water goes straight to the bottom of the hull/ bilge.

    see here, and here
