Hey John, you can run without it, but it's worth the bucks to find a MSD water injection unit.

The reason why, is aftermarket pipes are designed to produce higher rpm, and more HP at that rpm. To do this, the other end has to suffer. So bottom end torque is decreased to get it. Water injection gives you this low-end torque back.

You will also need a Jetworks Flow valve for the stinger.

It's a fair price. A good deal would be cheaper...

Robert what could you possibly want to get from the Rossier now? you have everything done to it but case porting and bigger carbs/ OH WAIT i just let the cat out of the bag LOL.. Anyways looking back at my Rossier days it was a solid pipe for 4 years that i ran it with ZERO problems, im wondering if i could have got more RPMS out of it since i had to learn the hard way with my Spec 2 i found out that i had a 95xp 800 limited CDI and i was using a MT rev limiter for a 96xp which is a NO NO. My boat hit the stock rev limiter right away with the Spec 2, now im wondering if i was banging it with the Rossier cause i should have seen at least 7200 with my previous setup. I think the most i got was 7150 on a cool and low humidity day on the first run.

From my 67 mph setup I'm adding RFI cases (supposed to give another 100 RPM) Triple port cylinders (supposed to give another 7 HP), Ceramic and teflon coated pistons (so I can do it all on pump gas).

BTW...NO case porting and NO larger carbs...

If I get 7650 with a Rossier turning an XO through 85/88 nozzles it should put me at the 69+ mph door. I may have to bend the prop a little. Other people have hit 69 with a Rossier, so I wouldn't be the first.

But the great thing about this setup will be the reliability. Once it's dialed, there is nothing to touch. Just put gas in it...
