    Block Off Plate

    Post or PM here.

Need an oil block off plate. I realize they sell them at 4-tec but $10 for shipping a small plate is a little much. Want to see if anyone on here has one first.

Thought about that, too. Do you know the material needed? I assume it has a gasket too?

it is not a critical area all you need to do is prevent water and debris from entering the stator area. Plastic or aluminum plate will work, little silicone to seal. I looked in drawer and found all kinds of stuff, except a block-off. I must have enough pump bearings for three pumps found my UMI rebuild kit for the GP too been looking for it.

I made one from 3/16" aluminum. You can make a gasket or use permatex...
