    Thumbs up 1995 Waveraider 700

Hi, I am new to the forum, and I own a 1995 Yamaha Waveraider 700. I bought it back in November and it ran great. Since then it sat because my father had an accident. Compression is 135 on both cylinders, I just cleaned and the carbs because it started running like crap because I put seafoam in it. I think it cleaned them out too fast and trashed the jets. It had been sitting for a while. Now the wear ring swelled up, and I have to replace that. i got it all apart, just waiting to find a wear ring for cheap enough. Hull is in great shape, and so is the engine, 62T case. If anyone has any info on this ski, a manual or just tips I would appreciate it. BTW I converted it to premix with the block off plate. What is stock compression? Also, what are the stock settings on the carbs? I read somewhere that they are: carb1 5/8 low and 5/8 high, and carb2 5/8 low and 1 1/8 high.
    Thanks
    Nick

Great ride indeed. I have the manual for it if you are interested. It's too large to upload onto this site, but if you want to PM me your email I can send it to you. Stock compression is 150/150 on that unit. The carb settings are listed in the manual that I have.

No problem. Here are some snapshots of the WaveRaider I just detailed. Only thing that bothers me is that front gunwale bumper. I'm just about ready to drop the engine in.

Thats nice man, i need to really detail mine. Just sent you another PM, still havent received the manual email. My wear ring swelled up from sitting, and i just got it apart, while i was trying to get the thing to turn over to find a free spot to pull it, i burnt out the starter solenoid, so i need to replace that, but no big deal. Splines on the drive shaft were not even corroded, and it came right out with that pb blaster.

The email I sent you came back to me as "delivery failure".

I forgot to mention but if your interested in some brand new purple hydro-turf let me know. I bought it while I still had my purple color scheme before I switched. It's brand new in the bag (paid $120 new for it) but I just want it gone now.

ill definitely let you know, I am really focused on gettin it running right now, but I will be on the forum often, and I would be very interested eventually. Do you think you are goin to have them for a while or are you wanting them gone now?
