    Questions on 2010 Wake 215

Seriously considering buying a Wake 215 but am curious if anyone has done any slalom skiing behind one and was it similiar to a pull behind a boat. Also has anyone tried the 2010 version with the pre-programmed acceleration and throttle maps?

I've been slalom skiing behind my RXP, and it could pull the jetski a little bit to each side, but as long as the driver compensated, there was no issue.

The 2010 is based on an entirely new hull...the S3 that you'll find on the RXT-X, GTX models and the RXT/GTX iS 260 (with the suspension system), so I think these are barely in the showrooms yet, let alone on he water with many hours. I would think that they'll be terrific tow machines, with the big hull and all the electronic stuff (cruise control, etc.) I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up (except for the sticker shock!)

Thanks guys, appreciate your input. I did talk to my local dealer again today and he said that due to the new hull having a deeper V, it will be a better ski tow machine..........they sure are not discounting them much!
I am in Alberta and if you bought a Sea Doo at the Boat Show here, you get a 5, yes 5, year warranty at no extra charge. Do you American buyers get a similiar deal on the 2010 models?

I have an 05 n/a Wake, you can definately feel the back of the ski wanting to pull to the side a bit when pulling a wakeboarder. It's not bad but you can tell someone is back there.

Thanks for your experiences with the unit. Is yours a 155 or the 215 Wake?

I have an 09 Wake 215 (I wish I had waited till this year to buy it!)... but it is a great machine. You can feel that someone is behind but nothing that will impede you or the person being towed to enjoy the ride!

Thanks for the input guys. So do you find with your 2009 Wake Pro that it is hard to hold the speed steady when you have a big or serious water skiier behind the pwc?

It is hard to keep a constant speed because you don't have cruise control... other than that, it is still a great PWC for wakeboarding. No huge jumps but we are not looking for that either....
