    Replacing pump bearing and seals.

How hard is it to change them out?? Can i get away with changing the bearing and seals, or do i have to replace the shaft sleeve the seals run on?? Is it just a case of removing pump, then the prop, take out the circlip and press the shaft out?? Thanks this on a 07 rxp

No need to replace the pump shaft for a "normal" rebuild... just the bearing, front seals, and 2 cone o-rings.

That part is questionable... and you will only know if you need it after you get the pump apart, and have a look at it. That little bastard ain't cheap either! But... if the coating on it is cracked or missing in areas, it will trash your new seals & your pump will take on water. If you don't have your pump apart yet, and want to be safe... order it anyway

    bearing

Not trying to hijack the thread but I am about to do this job as well - how hard is it to change out the bearing? Do I need any special tools or will it easily come out and go back in with some easy tapping.

That depends on how you go about doing the job. The bearing is press fit on the pump shaft, and also press fit into the pump. BRP does have special tools for pump rebuilds that are used in a hydraulic press... but you can also freeze & heat the components for assembly without the need for the tools, or a press.
