    raider 701 to 1100

    I have a 95 raider deluxe and need more speed. i was thinking about swapping it to an 1100 engine but dont know if i need anything besides an impeller. What else would i need ? shafts?

    The impeller on the 1100 is 155mm, whereas it's a 144mm.

    Electronics for sure.

    That's off the top of my head. search the forum, I think people have done this and it's been talked about here before.

    Make sure your hull has 3 sets of motor mounts on each side to accomodate the larger motor. You will need the complete longblock, electronics, pump, and midshaft. To be honest I think its too much work to swap it all out. I would sell it and just buy an 1100 or upgrade to the GP1200.

    thanks i just wanted to know if there was more to it then impeller and was hoping i could do it for cheaper than gettin another ski

    I guess it can be done, if you can find a donor engine, or something.

    But it's a little more involved than just the impeller
