    Skat Trac 8-vein stator

Well, I was surfing ebay and bidded on this and I was the only bidder so I won it.. I thought someone would outbid me but guess not.. This will be good for my next 785 motor project next year!

It came with 2 props and a stub shaft.

    Race gas, porting,180 psi..FUN FUN!

8 vein skat pump for all polaris watercraft. This was custom built for me in 2000 by skat trak. It is a 146mm pump with a small hub. I have two props for it a 12/17 and a 12/18.5. This worked reall good for the hole shot. IT has a broke stub shaft. Im including a replacement. The 12/18.5 will need to be taken to a machine shop to have the broke stub shaft removed. This set up retailed for over $1,800 in 2001. If you have any questions Contact me at C[email protected] Most likly this was the only one ever made.

    That's a special construction. I think you'll need a 146mm wear ring.

Keddano and Beerdart have similar pumps to that one. Neither have installed them.

the late model 93 and down pumps didnt have a replaceable wear ring did they ?

i can imagine it would cost a fortune to get it a 0ne of wear ring ,

You might want to check whether this 146mm stator will mate with a regular 148mm extension wear ring and exit nozzle.

    Small hub
Does that mean only specific 148mm impellers will fit, or must he stick with the special 146mm impellers?

You will need a custom wear ring. I wonder were it went too? Interesting,He must have had a 140mm,144mm and a 146mm set-up built by skat.Only with the 146mm extention wear ring would the set-up be good.

I talked to Cory about that one 144mm pump for sale and he said that the smaller pumps are built for acceleration. You will probably notice a loss in top end with the smaller pump...not to mention it is an 8 VANE stator (I don't think you stator has a circulatory system, so no veins ).
