Who has the skat trak double bearing mod?
And did you get good results from it?

Jerry, yes you know I have one. It looks very nice. Haven't put it on my ski yet. I'm still in the tuning stages, and experienceing other things before I put the icing on the cake. They (Glen) did a good job on the prop. Want to try it out bad, but not just yet. I'll let you know soon Jerry.

I have a question Here i know you guys love PPG but I want a honest un bias opinion who does the best Job on the solas for the RXP! Is it Impros or PG?

PPG has always done better on my solas impellers and Impros always did better on my stock impellers.

I had my Solas tweaked by PPG and was very satisfied as well.

Jerry, Are you having problems with your pump? Didn't you have the bearing relocated when you installed your ss wear ring? I was going to order the ss wear ring today and use in a stock pump. Do you think it will work ok?

My bearing is fine. I thought i was having problems with it, but it was just cavitation burn on my impeller. PPG did their bearing mod on the pump about 35 hours back and the shaft is still rock solid. The wear ring looks great!!!

I have the dual bearing pump from Impros, and I believe Skat-Trak does thiers the same way. I have had good results. I believe the dual bearing saves the wear ring because you don't have the flex when the pump is under torque like the stock pump. My stock pump seems to have a little more wear to one side,it is hardly noticeable with the dual bearing pump.
Performance wise I don't see much differance but it does save on wear rings and I would highly recommend the dual bearing if using the SS wear ring.

how much did PPG charge 4 the dual bearing mod?

They dont do a dual bearing mod, but they move the single bearing forward a little. I don't recall how much it was it was so long ago, but it was cheap.
