    Code P0107 Rude Controller fried??

My ski is throwing a P0107 code. I replaced the map sensor and is still throwing the code. When runs and sometimes will not idle. When the RPMs come up, the engine just shuts off. Last season I got some water in the ski which put the Rude fuel controller under water. Again, I changed the map sensor. I am thinking that the Rude Controller is fried. Any thoughts?????

you have it adjusted to far out of range ..you can only adjust it so far..

the map sensor sends the signal to the controler the controler changes it and sends it to the ecu..so the ecu sees the rude controler as the map sensor...your cotroler is fine..

the voltage the controler is sending the ecu ..the ecu sees as out of range....of what the map sensor should be sending..ignors it and the ecu thinks the map sensor is bad so it set off the code ...but it isnt ..

you need to adjust your pressure or injector size ..so it is closer ..

it ran fine before i got water in the engine. the setup is the same.

my thoughts are that the map sensor is ok, since i have swapped them out. I am thinking that the Rude Controller is no good since it got water in it and it is sending out a bad signal and/or the ecu is picking up a bad signal from the Rude Controller.

    Rude controller

Send it to me. I can fix it if it's damaged.

if you flooded your ski it could be a number of things..ecu pins ect...

the rude controler is sealed in its case water cant get to it..and the connections are weatherpack also water proof..but take them apart clean ..put some dielectric gerase in them and try again....

if that doest work ...to test it on the bench you need to find the 5 volt referance in wire...to a 5v source...jump it to the input wire to the controler ..
and find the output wire on the controler...not infront of me but i think they are purple and green..

load a map of all 10 in ..5 v in you should see 5 v on the output...

then load a map of all 6 test again 5 v in you should see 4 v out..if you do the controler is doing what it is supposed to do

check your tps...mine went bad once and it ran stupid ..but didnt throw a code..

change your plugs, and check your intercooler for leaks. bypass it if possible to see if it runs better.

Can you just run the ski without it and see if the code still comes up?

If you had bought this controller new then i highly doubt it is fried..As Anthony had stated they are sealed and have weather pack connectors to keep the water out..Even if you bought it used i see there being a slight chance it could be the controller..Not saying it isnt, just saying chances are slim that it is..

kool! Plugs, intercooler, etc. are all good! The ski ran great for a little while and then this came up.
