    do you know the year?

it is a three seater.. when ever you see a T on a older polaris that means three seater X means high performance model..

i have a 1997 sltx.. compared too a sl they are big.. but from what i hear they are stable.. and do around 60.. i guess mine was gps's at 59.6 or somthing like that,

the one thing i can think of is the iginition update that needs too be done sooner or later on the domestic engines.. from i think 2000 back to 1996, 700, 800, 900, 1050, 1200,

i like the 1050's they are strong and not horable on gas, at least for a pwc

Ignition update only applies to the domestic 900 and 1050 three cylinder engines, and the two cylinder engines, from 1996 to 1999.

The 1200 always had the updated ignition, even in 1999.

From 2000 onwards all engines had the newer ignition from the factory.

The original ignition systems in the affected models tends to be unreliable over time, so Polaris issued an Ignition System Update Kit, which is much more reliable.

The Kit includes a new CDI and a new stator.

Is a domestic 1050 so it falls in the catagory. Are they a free recall thing or do you have to buy it? How much does it cost? Any idea what the ski is worth?

Ignition Update kits cost around $300.

Installation involves removing the flywheel, which is the hardest part.

i wish it was free, but its not a recall, and the warranty on these skis where only a year.... and 6 months for the pro's

you have too buy it, around 300 bucks give or take, i had mine shipped for around 360 or so, the hardest part is the fly wheel.. i ended up taking the tank out and prepping everything in my sl 1050 and bringing it to a good shop too take the fly wheel off and install the stator. that was the best option for me.

Here in Michigan, I wouldn't pay more than $1,100 personally.

i paid a grand for mine...might have paid to much.. but came with all the parts too fix and was in good shape..

it boils down too condition, how much work it needs, if any, as well as whats in your pockets and how far you have too drive too get it as well as if it comes with a trailer..

i know in ny where i am a sltx could go for about 2 grand
