    Yami owners need some advise

I just purchased a 2008 SX230 Yamaha jetboat with twin 155 HP EFI motors (i believe this is correct). The boat is new, 0 hours. This was a spare of the moment purchase. I'm tired of the wind down here and thought this boat with a deep V hull would handle the chop much better than a ski. I'm looking for feedback on this boat from all you Yami owners. This is the first Yami watercraft I've ever owned so Please let me know of any preventitive measures I need to be aware of before I take it on the first voyage tomorrow morning.

    Thank you!

I think those boats use the same MR1 engine that was used in the FXHO skis(pre '09). I've heard they a pretty reliable.

I put 75 miles on the boat today and all worked well. I'm still not ready to give up my Seadoo skis though.

When they delivered the boat one of the motors would not idle so they had to take it back to the dealer and swap the injectors and fuel pump. The blame was old gas sitting in the boat. Has anyone had this problem? I will use stabil when the boat will not be used for more than a month.
