need opinion on x charger and inj!!
Just received this charger and 42# injectors that I baught from a member here, just need your opinion on it.
The front housing and wheel got some discoloration/pitting spots, after cleanup it feels smooth and turn freely, is it normal for a charger from a 2009 rxt-x that has only 16 hours?? Got to say it's comming from Miami so probably salt water driven. (see pics)
Do I have to do something about it (get it shinier) or just ride it like that??Is it gonna affect performance??
What kind of silicone do u use to put it back together??
The injectors are from a rxp-x, they have a kind of a yellow crust where the 4 holes are, it is easily removable but some of it got in the holes. How do I remove the shit that got into those hole??
Can i just get the solenoid to open by putting 12v on the connectors pins and use compressed air (from the rail side) to blow this shit out?? Do you have other tricks??

you can clean it up with a scotch bright pad or some steal wool..if you choose ...that is just what happens here in fla in the salt air...just use some black rtv .high temp... i would just clean the injectors up with some carb leaner .and go....if you add a intercooler you are going to need a fuel controler or rrfpr...you will be amazed at the difference in acceleration ...

Thats what I taught. As far as mods, I will probably stay with those, don't really want to go higher and start to mess up with afr's.
