What Prop Should Be On a 03 GTX 185?
I have a stock 03 GTX SC that is spinning the prop during hard acceleration. Not sure it has the correct impeller. QC001249 is stamped in the hub...

That number doesnt sound familiar.
The seadoo numbers are usually like 9 digits.
Check your wear ring

as long as the top end revs are right then it must be the right prop so check the wear ring clearance and see if the blades are damaged it doesnt take much to upset them. If the prop has had alot of sand through it the O/D might be to worn and the prop will need replacing. other things such as the carbon drive shaft seal and damaged plastic pump shoe can cause cavitation (slipping feel when taking off)

There should be another number/ markings on it
Probably inside the hub itself.
If it's performing ok , other than the cavatation, then
probably a worn wear ring.
Being a qc #, just a mfr quality check #.
I can tell you FOR SURE that if you put in that 155hp
prop, it will run on the rev limiter. That's not good.
And your top end will be down considerably.
You SHOULD be running about 59-62 mph true gps speed
AND 7450-7600 rpms on a stock GTX SC.
