    2001 RXDI CB resevoir question

Just trying to find out what peoples opinions are on how often this should be checked. Is it the 200 hr mark or should it be done more frequently? I currently have 98hrs on my ski. Thanks for any input .

you can check it by removing the bolt on the rear of the cases, check with a screwdriver to see if you got some in it, But you should be fine, unless you had a crank seal leak.

But wont hurt to check it, better safe than sorry.

At the rear of the cases? That doesn't sound right at all. The gears are located in the middle of the Cb and crank. I have a 2001 RXDI and that has the 951 in it. Im looking to see how often people recommend checking it and if they can fill me in on what it takes to do it. Maybe Im wrong in saying this but from the looks of some pics I've seen you wouldn't know you had a leak unless you are checking how much oil is in it. That is why I want to know how often to check. Any help I can get is greatly appreciated.

Yes, That is the vent cap. It's also on the right side of the case not the rear. Sorry, not trying to come of as a d-bag. Looks like you need to remove the pipe to get at it? Still my main question would be how often should I be checking this? Also How far down should the oil be if it is ok? Thanks for the reply and the help.
