    Supercharger slip???

    im upgrading to an S3 charger and will need a torque wrench to maintain the slip. i was looking at a craftman one but only goes for 10-100flb. whats the slip for an S3 charger???

    I like to set the S3 wheels up at around 135 inch LBS which is right around 11 11.5 ft LBS

    For every pound of boost you need about 1 ft-lb of torque.

    I think with mcmasters and riva washers you will be spot on.

    Can Tire has a digital torgue wrench on this week for $49.Fits on ratchet ..(either 3/8 drive or 1/2 drive)...regular price is about $80. Works for ft/lb..in/lbs ..etc.
    Have not seen it but is advertized in this weeks flyer.

    bill i saw that but i wouldnt trust it. im going toget the craftman dig and get it calibrated befor i even use it.

    where do you get the digital torque wrench calibrated at? Do you have to send it to craftsman?

    no idea my snap-on guy always hooks me up with that kinda stuff. he'll take it to who ever he deals with.

    yes but double the price and snap-on doesnt make the torque wrenches and for all i know the same company make the craftman one. also jerry is rebuilding the sc when i send it in so ill double check with my wrech and see if its diffrent then what his was as im guessing his is calibrated.

    Snap-on positively makes there torque wrenches.Im a professional mechanic and own 3 different Snap-on torque wrenches all made by Snap-on. There the best FYI
