TDC on a 4tec sc motor

Can someone tell me what piston I should go by to get TDC for my crank
So I can use the seadoo locking tool?
Front of ski, middle or rear?
    This is for a 04 4tec sc.

    Thanks

Don't forget if you don't set it before disassembly you will want to loosen the rocker shaft

    MRDTB,

    This is for the crank.

Beerdart: The seadoo locking tool does not screw all the way in. It went in half the way and the crank does not turn.
    Is that good?
Once the skis are ready I will be ready to ride with you.

    Thanks

Yes I know for the crank. If your valves are in the wrong position when installing the head it can make contact.

You should be fine. I do not have the tool 1/4" extension for me.

If you look in the hole you will see the hole in the crank web lign up with the block so you can be sure its spot on then wind the tool into place
