    Water Reducer Info

OK, so i've got part #'s for some of the diff. water
reducers that go between pump & pump shoe:

    1. Yellow Reducer 291 001 887
This is the most common I think. It's in the RXP & RXT 215 hp

    2. Green Reducer 271 001 586
This is in the X boats 255 hp

    3. 291 001 888
This is in the 185 HP s/c boats. I do not know the
    color of this one.

I'm Trying to figure out the diameter of the water
passages of these 3 and also what would be the
advantages/disadvantages of using a larger or smaller
water opening than oem called for.

    Thanks for Help/ Input

I dont know the exact measurments BUT the Yellow resisters hole is smaller than the green..This will increase line pressure and give less water volume compaired to the green one..I have 2 stage skis and i have changed to the green resister with zero issues...
