I would get an R @D ride plate so you can go faster down the road if you want to.
The stock prop is great until you get above 71 miles per hour.
Spend your prop money on a race filter, free flow and d plate.
You can step the stock sponsons and save 200 more.

in adddition to the sponsons I would also leave off the free flow and take those $ and get an EFI

What they said. When thats finished it will be a 14/20 dynafly for your 05.

I wouldnt do the 14 20 df untill you put more power in the engine. I did, with only all the usual hull mods,no engine mods, and its a total terd on accelleration. Top speed is good, 69.3 sunday, but low and midrange, compared to the stock impeller, is terrible!

thanks for the help guys, mtrager, what race filter do you suggest? And is it an easy install?

My Basically Stock 05 Spins The 14/20 Bad Out Of The Hole

I see so i wouldnt want to get the dynafly untill ive modded the engine?
Would i need to get anything else if i got a race filter ? Im not to keen on gettin an EFI because here in New Zealand they cost around $2000 and id rather spend my money on other parts.

If you put on the race filter you will have to add the EFI controller.
The 14/20 is hit and miss. With my 05 along with many others it does great without engine mods and with others mods are needed. Look at Island racings stage one kit , it has the dynafly 14/20 among other things with no engine mods included.

oh ok wont be getting that then :P Is there any engine mods that you can put in without having to get the EFI??
