    Jetworks Question

I have been looking through the threads and I have a cpl questions no one has answered. Has anyone drilled the hole for the thru-hull fitting and had trouble with it leaking? (I wanna keep stock bilge.) Do you have to shorten the bolt where the temp sensor is going? Seems like it will hit the bolt pretty easy if not.

yes add washers to the bolt where the temp sensor goes and if your pipe drain is on the bottom, add there too

thru hull works fine but I always seal the threads and mounting with 5200

Why does everyone stack washers? I just trimmed the bolt.

I had problems with wool getting between the washers when I was tightening the bolt down.

    HAHAHA!
Truthfully you are exactly right. Stacking washers to me is just asking to come loose. I bet it would stay but hate to get the call from Thomas, "Hey kris pick up the phone we have a problem. The bolt by the jetworks came off that YOU put on and now the ski went under. Here is the bill."

That pic was 2 years ago ladies. Cutting the bolt is proper, although the washers were on there for 2 seasons without a problem.
