No, it did not warp at all, it's pretty thick and I did't go to deep, maybe 1/4" deep at the most. It's a decent size gap to weld without making a piece to fit inside the hole first, but it wasn't that bad, I've done much bigger gaps than that without any fill pieces. It took almost 2 full sticks of 1/8" rod.

I can definitely see where this might be an issue with blowing the sealant out on high hp skis, there is not much room there at all to seal that much pump pressure. I was originally going to use epoxy but it was Sunday and not to many places open to get what we needed so I said what the heck, lets just weld it! It turned out like it was made that way.

Yes the piece from Coco is a very nice extremely good fit.
We have the 3M 8719 SMC/Fiberglass adhesive, but I need to find a dual plunger applicator gun before we can glue it into place.
Here is a link for the adhesive. http://www.shop3m.com/60980029767.ht...POW_3MAAD_List Believe it or not my local Oreily Auto part store had it in stock for $41. The applicator gun on the other hand has been a little harder to get ahold of. They retail for $65!

(This was not a job for the do it yourselfer in my opinion)

I have access to the gun if you need

I have tried the 2 part epoxy, but its a little too messy for my liking... I use marine-tex to glue them reinforcement pieces in
