    I need the best info anyone have a good link?

    I did the one on my Hurricane last week.

    If you have one available, a band saw makes quick work of slitting the case. It took me no more than 5 minutes to get it apart. I had a port-a-band that was almost the perfect width to cut the MFD on the long side.

    My 'cane display looks new.

    Is there a way to test these without installing them, the e box is still out of my ski?

    Yes.

    Install jumper wires on the + and - terminals. That'll light it up before you seal it up.

    The 12 pin for my pro is toast, but I want to try a spare 8 pin before I cut it open, where do I hook the + and - to on the mfd

    Be careful you get the polarity correct.

    OK powered it up, do you think I should cut it open and clean it up? Will the rest of the numbers come back?
