    Awesome concept here but I don't see the advantage for skis?

    When we pin the throttle on a ski the RPMs go to the top- instant boost. On a car the RPMs start low and work their way up. In that case you'd want to gear up the S/C impeller speed for low RPMs to make boost and then gear it down for high RPMs. Unless you want to throw some blades into lower orbit

    There is, all it is, is a planetary gear set and clutch pack out of an average everyday transmission connected to a blower. In a automatic transmission you lose about 25-30% of the engines power to the wheels.
