    Pop-off pressure adjustment question

    Okay, before anyone asks, I searched and found a few suggestions but am still having some issues.
    First off, carbs were rebuilt plus new needles seats, jets, the whole nine yards. To the point, when testing the pressure, fuel inlet, everything else capped, wet seat, 95g spring, the pressure will rise to just about 50psi and then will drop,not quickly, but will drop and settle at about 42psi and hold steady. I can hear and see the needle opening but it's not opening quickly. this is making it difficult to get an accurate reading. What might I be doing wrrong or not al all? Reading the how-tos, it doesn't sound to difficult which is why I seem to be gettig a little frustrated. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    Okay, I got it to work properly however I am getting higher readings than I expected. 48-50 three tests per carb. I tried two different guages and came up with similar results. Anyone else had these types of high numbers starting out when using a 95g spring? I just want to make sure I'm okay before I start hacking at the spring to get the pressure down to where it needs to be. Thanks.
