Reflash on x
If i reflash my ECU on an X boat to say 8500....what am i looking at in gains losses....for a stock charger, wont it have to be depitched to run that high..i no JP did this somewhere along his journey on his PX...eventually Iwant to add a mini-rude or ET.injectors and rude controller.

I did this upgrade last fall, I put a les
Cooke 8600 stock class ecu on my px..
I also had to upgrade to Les Cooke retainers...
Gains... I saw 13lbs of boost and picked up of a few mph..
I upgraded to et137 on it over the winter but never had a chance to run it, before I upgraded sc again...

Im assuming your just looking to up leave ski stock but up the rev limiter..
Initial gain with just a raised rpm limit (8400rpm) is going to be a few miles an hour..
Les can reflash the ecu to match the SC components on the ski so need to add other fuel controlling devices (unless you already have it)

yea... i just want to be able to run like 8300...hoping i could do so without the valvtrain upgrade?

I know Les does reflash so you can still run the oem valve train and if I'm not mistaken the rev limiter is set at 8450
