Time to get on the water, Problem with seal.

I bought a RAD4Racing drive shaft seal and went to put it on and it just slips right on, no machineing needed/possible. I have a 03 gtx sc.
I had put this 03 sc engine in a 02 hull, but due to the alignment being off a hair, my carbon seal wore out and cavitated alot.

Well my question is, can I just put the seal in and use it or do I have to get a new driveshaft from a rxp and get it machined, if that will even work.

I was going to take better pics but my batteries died and i dont have any more.

Use the stock carbon seal bro and save yourself from a potential issue.

Thats because the stock 185hp driveshaft is thinner than the 215hp driveshaft...The RAD4 is made for 215hp units, and will not work

To make it work you need to swap a lot of things...too much $$$.

OK here is what I'm doing, I took the motor apart so I can take it to a dealer and have them shim the motor, gave them easy access to the motor mounts by takeing off the intake and plastic hoses.

I made a appointment for 11am monday to have them align it, They said to align it would be $160 (2 hrs) plus i need to buy a carbon seal with boot, and a new metal washer it spins on.

How long should this really take? I have everything apart already.

It takes no more than an hour even if you are taking the ski with the complete pump to be removed, you can save some money if you take the complete pump then all they have to do is shim the motor, then dealer should charge you for only 1/2 hour.
