    X Charger / Rebuild question

I have a stock SC with a green wheel that needs to get rebuilt soon. I've been looking a the X charger its my understanding that the X upgrade doesn't cover the parts that need to be rebuilt, meaning I would need to buy a rebuild kit and the X upgrade. Right?

well you would need to machine the housing to fit the 137mm impeller wheel the X has. It would probably be cheaper for you to just purchase a brand new X, or find a used one on the forums.

Breakdown of the price you will pay if you go your route. This is just an estimated price.
    Rebuild kit - $310
Jerry's labor for rebuild if you get him to do it - $75
    X wheel/housing - $200 (if u find one on the forums)
Machining your housing to house the x wheel - $125-$150 (also you might have doubts if they machined it right or not).

At the end of the day, it would be better to just purchase a new X-SC. You can purchase it at Jerry's store for $650.

The X-Wheel is a larger diameter then the stock Green-wheel. So if you want to upgrade then you will need a housing for a 137mm wheel stock is 127mm.

That was what I was thinking why would there even be an Riva X upgrade that requires machining if you can buy a complete X Sc for basically the same price? The complete X Sc would still need washers right?

Are you talking about this X upgrade? This sc wheel is a direct swap for jet ski's with already installed x-chargers.
