    Fuel pump wiring

I have a '96 SLX 780. There is a hose disconnected from the fuel pump and I can't figure out where it goes. If you look directly at the fuel pump the two outlets on the left side are going to the carbs. The top one on the right side goes to a carb and the one below it goes to the front of the ski. In the middle of the pump is a hose. I'm guessing its a vacuum line or something. The hose on it is only about 8 inches long. I can't for the life of me find where it goes. I've removed the air cleaners from the carbs and can't feel any place for it to hook up.

    Any thoughts.

    Thanks.

Would that be the pulse line from the crank case?

Look down low on the side of the engine for a nipple. It provides vacuum/pressure pulses from the crank case to 'power' the fuel pump.
