    Front Hood: Rubber Plug - AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH

    I'm trying to get this split rubber plug back into the sleve and its driving me bananas.....

    Any tricks to compress this thing back in there?

    It doesn't fit in there as far as I know. The "Plug" sits up the rod a little and when you close the hood it fits/sits into the lower seal.

    Ours don't fit into the hole. They just slide on the rod and kinda make a seal.

    don't sweat it bro, mines been that way since 04' and haven't been able to get it in there yet...lol It won't hurt anything.
