    FZR intake grate revisited.

Is anyone running the WORX WR233 FZ intake grate?

How much top end does one sacrifice? How does it compare to the R&D?

Seems most are losing a little speed on glassy conditions in order to gain traction in rougher stuff with the aftermarket grates. Not sure how aggressive a grate one really needs with this hull.

Well to be honest as you modify the engine for more power and speed your going to need that extra hook up in order to be fast in the chop.

I sacrifice nothing because my TBM intake grate is fully adjustable. I ride in 3 different conditions in California; the ocean, the delta and lakes. And I can switch up my intake grate accordingly.

    Did you get an FZR?

    Mpower: Yep.
Haven't seen any evidence of stuff with the stock grate on our unit but am considering locking down the ride a little. The FZR doesn't have the sheer thrust the RXP-X did but I'm liking it more and more every time I ride it.
Still looking for a used 08 or newer (for the new hull) superjet. Would be kind of cool if they came out with a 4 stroke version.

You will have to check out Bob or Coreys FZ's when we get done putting them together. Are you still in Pea Hill?
