    06' RXP hesitating or misfiring

I took my ski out today for the first time in several months ( five or six)
I have always turned it on periodically in the garage with the hose to make sure things keep moving. When I took off today it started to hesitate, at first I thought it was something stuck like weeds so i checked it out and nothing. Then i realized it was more of misfiring or hesitation issue. I pulled it out of the water and it did the same. I'm gonna try changing out spark plugs tomorrow.

Anyone have any other ideas of what I should try incase the plugs don't do it?

I think it's your plugs too..

You also may have gas that has gone bad.
I'd try to burn thru at least a half a tank , then
add fresh before getting too worried.

i have the exact problem........ITS THE GAS.....once the fresh gas mixes in it will clear up.

I ran all the gas out of it when I parked it and filled it with fresh gas yesterday. I don't think that the gas is it, I will change plugs out today and take it to the water tomorrow.

If all else fails it sounds like it could be dirty injectors. If you pull your injectors and apply 12 volts to them then blow through both direction with compressed air they may clear out. one way to tell if this is your issue is to pull the rail with the injectors still connected and get 3 small clear bottles ( one for each injector). Crank the motor over for 10 second with the injectors spraying in the bottles then compare the amounts in the 3 bottles. Also watch the spray pattern of the injectors and see if they all look the same.

I would suggest you replace the plugs every season to avoid this problem as I went through the same a couple years back and decided it was cheap maintenance and kinda annoying when you have plans and the things won't run right. Just my 2cents.
