some help with my AFR numbers

    okay the water temp was 64 degrees -- air temp 72 degrees -- i just took my ski out for the 1st time with my mods from winter --at 1800 rpms was 11.6 -- 3000 - 11.8 -- 5000 - 12.9 - 13.0 -- 6000 - 13.5 -- 7000 - 11.6 -- 8140 -- 12.4 -- I'm hitting hard on my rev. limiter at WOT so i need to adjust for that also -- any help would be great !
almost forgot i'm running a R&D powershot also -- its in the sig

You really need toget off limiter to set afr at wot. Your numbers don't look that alarming to me. In fact that is quite normal for your setup. It got leaner at wot because on limiter.
Without a fuel controller you will be high 12,s before boost at 6500 rpm.
Get off limiter, set wot at 11.8 - 11.9 Afr with rrfpr. Then you can try to lean idle. Your randd controler can only take away and not add.

    Hope that helps.

I'm just learning about this and have been studying-up some as I installed an LC-1 on my FZS.

I thought WOT target is 11.9 to 12.2 with idle around 12.5. Sound right?

Get it off the limiter first before going any further. I guess you could lean it out at idle and add fuel with the powershot at mid and on top. One thing tho, if the powershot fails it could be real bad day for engine. The other way is set your WOT AFR with the RRFPR and get a RUDE controller and pull fuel. If the RFC fails you will run rich and not hurt your engine. JMO.

Your WOT numbers are good. You could run a little richer with a high boost wheel at WOT. The idle should be around 14:1 if possible. This makes for a strong, crisp holeshot atleast on my PX it does.

i was thinking of removing the R&D powershot and see what the readings are then -- with making adjustments to the impeller to get off the limiter -- would it be worth while to remove the powershot and see how my readings are then ?

Yes remove the PS and see what your AFR are.

I've never had any luck with the powershot on the doo's. I tried turning down the fuel pressure to clean up idle and use the powershot to add fuel on top but the powershot made almost no diff in A/F. This may have been because with the boost I was running the injectors were already going static open @ wot or the PS was just a pos. I decided he later and ditched the PS.

i think you meant the rd can only add and not pull fuel?
