    GP 1200 first run

well my first real run after break in of the 97 GP 1200,runs good but do not know my exact speed ,speedo read 62 but i know they are not accurate, have to get a GPS and start modding, rough chop today as the wind was up and i fell off at full throttle, does not feel good when that happens,a boat had to bring my ski to me as it went to far when i fell, hit a wave sideways and knocked me good. only thing that does not work is the gas gauge so i will have to fix that.

When you fall off do you have a hard time getting back on. I have never fallen off my Gp but other people have. They had a hard time getting back on. In fact I only know one person that could get back on without someone else holding the bow down. I am afraid of getting stranded in the middle of a lake. Do you have a step on yours?

It is easy getting back on,i do not see where anyone should have a problem unless you hit the water at 60 mph like i did,i hit my ankle on the lower side of the ski and it is sore, but i still got back on easy after a boat brought my ski back to me,i do not want to do that again.

oh boy... I can't wait to get out on mine. Local lake here is 47*F right now. Saw one guy out on a ski over the weekend. I may have to try it this weekend if the weather is nice.

It is easy to get back on. The only problem I have with boarding is someone else is trying to climb on and they are not even with weight distribution. and the driver has to counterbalance back and forth.

when i fell off i got hurt and just pulled myself up,i do not have any problems getting back on,i do not see how someone could have a problem, but hey my riding days are going to have to wait as i have a cast on my foot now from my fall, still love the GP and plan on making it faster, just have to adjust to that ski,all i have ridden before is seadoo and Polaris, but like the GP better even though it threw me off good.cannot blame the ski ,my wild riding on a ski new to me.
