    96 seadoo tachometers

have a 96 speedster and both tachs have gone bad does anyone have any ideas on replacements i guess they are discontinued and i have bought one used one and it crapped out within the first year i would like something to fit the factory hole but dont know if something will be a good replacement for factory. i know most people have gone to a tiny tach but they dont fit the factory cutout. TIA

Have a plate made out of stainless or aluminum to fit in the factory gauge spot and mount the tiny tach to it. You can also find some aftermarket gauge to wire in just not which one to use although any electric tach should work and you can use the oem wire to hook it up. Here is a pic that I done for the hot tach on my rxx
