Cosmetic issue = broken stabalizer fin

After puttering into shore yesterday, my over zelous gf ran into me on her GSI. Collision was hard enough to break the right side fin on the side of the boat as looking at it from the rear. Also didn't do my foot much good. Question is how to fix - a search for fin on here brings up quite a bit. The fin is purple and it looks like I'll need to get way into the bottom of the hull to get it off. Put on with studs? Any where to get a single?

Those are called sponsens and they are bolted on though the inside of the hull. There should be 4 circles that are cut into your foam in the rear. It will be kind of a chore to take the bolts out without losing them. When i put new sponsens on i cut out the foam and them put it back in after i was done.

There are probably many leftover stock sponsons left over from people installng better aftermarket ones. I'd put a WTB in the classifieds for one.

The right side is the best one to break on yours, the battery tray and black box assembly is quick and easy to remove for easy access to the bolts. Remove the rubber bottom under the battery to access the screws.

I noticed the half circles in the foam and did assume that is where I would need to get to. Is there a nut on those studs? What size nut. Airbornexp, what would you take for your aftermarket sponsens? Recommendations on sealer (looks like there is a sealer around the current bolts/studs in what is left of the old sponsen).

10mm, you will need a deepwell socket.

There should be fender washers welded to the nut but sometimes they break free.

Sounds good. I need them for the GSI though. My first post was confusing.
