We just had an Earthquake in Arizona!!!

    Here's the details; http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquak...ci14607652.php

I felt it in Lake Havasu. It was a gentle rolling motion. My computer monitor and desk chair were rolling back and fourth.
It registered 6.9, and was centered down in Baja California.

It's been a few years since I've felt an Earthquake. But, I grew up in California, so I'm not stranger to the sensation.

That's good. At first, I thought I was having some sort of flashback or something. My LCD computer monitor was wobbling on my desk, and I thought to myself, this isn't me, it's an earthquake.

Looks like it's a pretty big one too. Will probably be hearing some damage reports from Mexico soon. It was 6.9!!!

It was centered in Baja California. Don't know why the news is surprised it was felt in Arizona. We're not that far away from the epicenter, and closer to it than L.A.
Heard they just closed the rides at Disneyland, didn't know they evacuated. It felt like one of those really deep earthquakes.
Let's hope there's not to much damage down south.

Funny thing about pets; mine didn't even respond. But, years ago, when I had a dog, he would whine just before an earthquake(I was living in California, and he was whining in 1989, when the big one hit San Francisco-that one I felt, big time. I almost fell off my trailer. I was standing on it, working on my ski at the time, and the trailer tongue almost fell off the block holding it up).

It was felt in Phoenix as well.

We had some more sensitive equipment at work that got out of whack.
