Has anyone have this happen on a sho
Went riding today and punched through a wave at the monster hole
and part of the hood got blown off. Wtf.

maybe a shark got it? Ha. I think its just monster hole. use to destroy my skis there and when I use to work for seadoo hoods were cracking all the time. Its tuff on the skis but a blast

and sink the ski. Going to riva tomorrow and talk to alex. I told him the hood was a weak point. That's why i put the mirror block off's on

yea i would think it would be covered since it was the hood. Seadoo at the time changed the bracket that held the hood on from plastic to stainless after it wacked me in the face full throttle on a turn. Let them kniw it hit you in the face when it came off. Goodluck

I took it to them today and they will see if yamaha will good faith it.
Rob at riva service said he well do what he can. Yamaha dont warranty body parts. After the first year. It only has 50 hrs on it. And no i couldn'tsay it hit me. I was there in person. Good idea though.

jezz bro that was a some what of a bad day for us hu. u lost ur hood, my carbs went out half arse, and your boy had running isues in the beginning. there will be a good day for us soon. so what is the up date on the hood any way? getting a new one or are you just going to half to buy a new one. im telling y90ou thay shoule figure a way to screw them in or something cuz them rivits arnt $hoot.

great u-tube. but i'm not that good yet. great news Rob at riva service dept spent some time on the phone with yamaha and got it approved for warranty. good faith. and yes it not cheep like 350.00 . they replaced the hole hood for free nada. the crew at riva is second to none.

them guys at riva are the best, i had my riva intake grate broke at the rear mounts and broke my trandsom plate and they got it under fixed those guys at riva are the best

I notice to when i rode the sho in the chop it had a huge bin and was shaking all over compared the the fzr which was tighter
