    PWC Hats

For the guys with less hair on their heads,

How do you keep your head from getting burned besides putting some sunblock up there? I've seen neoprene hats, anyone use one? Or a bandana or anything?

I want to get something that won't blow off but protect my scalp from the sun.

I shave my head, (by choice, hair sucks), and use bullfrog sunscreen. That stuff is AEWSOME!!! I've worn it in the middle of the Persian Gulf, and never had an issue. It's sweat and waterproof. A little on the expensive side (like $9 for a little bottle) but lasts a long time.

Hats are great up until about 50 mph, that's why they invented this stuff called "sunscreen lotion" a few years ago...

I wear a hat all the time. I use the military boonie caps and get one size too small so it stays. I haven't moved my pics to the new computer but I wore this hat the whole time at Mud Bug and have been in the high 80's with it on. Just make sure the front folds up and not down in your eyes.

I had the opposite problem, Long hair. I wear it in a ponytail while riding, but the wind blows it out and i look like buckwheat at end of ride.

This is what i use. Under Armour beanies. They come in different styles and colors. Some have a mesh at top. They stay on nicely at 75+mph. This is what professional football players wear under their helmets.

I use Skull Wraps, or Drew Rags. The style that alot of bikers wear. They are cheap (under $3.00). I sweat like a pig on my forehead when it's hot and wear them most summer long to keep the sweat from getting in my eyes. I have found 2 styles, one is just materal, the "Good" ones have terry cloth along the edge and absorb the sweat better. Also when they get wet while riding they help keep you cool.
I use to use them on the Harley at over 70 mph with no problems.
