Taking the seadoos to the Florida Keys APR 17-25th... Where would you guys go?

Looking to do some touring / check out some dive sites out there. We hope to take the skis out to the reefs and tie up and snorkel.

On a side note, we are doing our scuba referral dives in the keys to finish our certification. Can anyone recommend a dive shop?

    Places to see / stay?

Where would you go for some good jetskiing and some good sight seeing on the water??

check out our website under past events

Lots of reefs to dive along with ships that were sunk for diving purposes.

The Christ of the Abyss 6 miles off Key Largo is a popular spot. see pix attached

We have a pretty large group going to Key Largo the second week in July. How do we find the location of this "Christ of the Abyss"? Is it well marked or do you have a GPS location?

The florida marine sanctuary sent me a map that folds out and is about 3 feet by 2 feet big. ITS awesome! Shows depths, dive spots, channel markers, bouys etc... Highly recommend anyone going to call the chamber of commerce and the NOAA and florida marine patrol for PWC info and maps... Lots of really shallow places even for miles out (1-2 feet deep)... I can't want to head out and have some fun in the keys!!!!

Grecian Rocks looks amazing. It's about 5 miles off shore but we are up for it.

They also recommend highly getting a pair of polarized sunglasses so you can see water depth better.

What other info do you guys have? Key Biscayne sand bar?

Great! Thanks for the heads up!

Do you know who the instructor is or if there is a possible plug you would be able to give me to get a few dollars off referral/ completion dives for our certification? Most shops are asking $285 for 2 mornings worth of dives (4 dives total).

$450 for 2 people would be pretty nice...
