    XPL New Mods

    Hi every one,

Today my dad and i took the XPL down to the Watersports center where the water is like glass.

These are the lists of new mods:

    WORX intake grate
    ADA billet head
    Prok air filters'
    Solas 15/20

    Pic #1 First GPS Run
    Pic #2 Second GPS Run
Pic #3 My brother and I

Last week I took the ski out but didn't take any pic's of the GPS, we had the stock intake grate on the ski, and we hit 60.4MPH top speed with stock grate, so it goes to show the WORX grate does slow you down.

The next mods for the ski are a TDR Waterbox and i am jetting the carbs.

I know i should be hitting 63-64MPH and we know what the problem is, it is the Prop it is overpropped but we arent going to bother to change it, because in the next few months we are buying a FZR and RXP so its all good for now.

    Thanks for your time Nick

You are also loosing speed because of the intake grate. Put the stock grate back on and re-gps it. I bet you pick up alittle speed. While your under there, you might as well fill in the ride plate holes too. Also, what are your peak rpms?

not to sound like a smart ass, but how do you know what your rpms are if you dont have a tach?

stick with the stock grate if your going for speed. it has proven to be the best for speed in side by side testing.

I am thinking he means that he doesn't have a digital tach as an XPL has an analogue tach as std ?
