i know for sure the stroke between the two cranks is different. you cannot just drop a 650 crank into a 750 case, w/o some custom rod work.
why are you asking?

well actualy it looks like the stroke difference is made up wher the liner protrudes into the 750 cases and the 650 liners so not protrude.therefore you should be able to bolt everything up and it work.It just seems like it would be a lot better flowing case.

are you thinking of running a 650 cyl too?
with all due respect, IMO it would jsut be better, and easier to run a 750 motor.
this is what i know for sure.
back in the day, i remember guys taking a 650 motor and tring to turn them into 750's. you would have to stroke the crank, and deck the bottom of the 750 cyl. ( the 750 cyl sleeves protrude into the cases, the 650 ones do not).
even after all this, they never really did run as good as a 750.
personally, i have never heard anyone wanting to turn a 750, into a 650.

Thing is I put a 750 in my boat and I really didnt notice that much difference, granted it was a small pin motor but still.I am looking for bottom end and midrange, its going in a big heavy seacouch anyways so top end is not an issue.I have ridden a few of these with stock engines and i swear I really cant tell much difference in the power.

Acually Zig I was thinking of running the 750 cylinder if I can find the pistons.I was told jetskimechanic had a few and have an e-mail into them now.I have several different carb setups avail to use and I was going to use the stock pipe of a sts on there also. From what I can remember that pipe worked very well.I have a tdr waterbox that I am having redone for this also. The fittment is kinda strange because it is goIng in a seacouch, but I have everything pretty much worked out.I am using dual fuel tanks out of seadoo xps and it looks like everything will just fit nicely.I really want to try this combo out.if it dosent work as planned I can always rip it back out and just build a 750 and a 650.All I will really be out is the piston money.
