It depends on what budget your on and how "fast" or "powerful" you want. IMO...the best mods for what it sounds like you are going to do...

Factory Pipe ...www.factorypipe.com is by far the biggest gain you will get. $750 pipe
Head- get a girdled ADA head from www.adaracing.com run 175-185 PSI $400 head
Prop Solas 13/17 and or an Impros "hooker" prop $250-$300
Dual cooling "needed for pipe" $40
Double bar intake grate.....a Worx 201 or Riva top loader $100-$200
    Rejet carbs...and aftermarket F/A $100

That will provide a very nasty blaster ......

If you want to go with porting ....Tim Judge is the man for the Blaster spec porting =0)

The parts described are bolt on items....and required little amount of exp to install...and required only basic tools. I've built 15-20 blasters and those mods listed are very effective to making your blaster go from a VERY boring stock ride to a wild little limited blaster that can run 93 octane and provide arm wrenching power. Porting will add more to this.....and will run ya a bit more....

Let me know if you need anymore help...I know the blaster very very well...

In SoCal there are no legal wave jumping spots, but there are a few places we go. Point Loma and Del Mar Beach on Camp Pendleton
