    I heard last week Riva was at $6000 new on the crate.

    If you end up going with a new crate engine, I think it comes with all the electronics and wiring harness, which you already have. That could be a hot commodity for the conversion guys. Selling that stuff would help offset the 6k price tag. I would actually be interested in it, so maybe drop me a pm if you end up going that route.

    I would think you could find an insurance claim or repo'd SHO or FZR/S and part it out, and end up with the motor and all necessary parts for a conversion for a lot less than 6g's.
