    Trailer question

    Hey guys, i have a rxp 2?? and my bro just purchased a rxt 215. He used to have a yam gp800r. We have a double trailer that has a max load of 1650. Are the jets to heavy?

    RXT = 815 + 16 gal fuel (97lbs) = 912
    RXP = 792 + 16 gal fuel (97lbs) = 889
    -------------------------------------
    Total 1801 lbs

    I made a mistake... you are over and I would find a replacement.

    ya im the same as you like to be well away from the limit, about 30 45 mins usually but my family has a house in RI so sometimes there which is about a 2 hr ride. i know that the trailer is rated more then they post but im still worried.

    Not knowing what year RXP & RXT you are talikng about, but by using 2008 specs I would say loaded with fuel you would be overloaded.

    2007 dry weight for both is 1607. Loaded with fuel you would over.

    You may want to contact the manufacturer about upgrading yours. A heavier-duty spring may be all that is needed.
