    Questions about a RXT

I found a RXT for sale locally for 6400.00.

it has 37 hours on it, and its in perfect shape. It comes with a single trailer also.

My question is can you a octane booster to regular gas and run it in it?
I ask this because on the side of the lake I ride on they don't have to many high octane fuel pumps.

Also, do you guys think that is a good price.

    Thank you,

    - O.Rider

most pumps on the water are 89 unleaded with no BS Ethanol! If ur not gonna mod the ski 87 or 89 is fine the stock computer will retard timing so it doesnt have issues.

About half the docks on LOTO have premium.
IF you keep it stock, then you'd be fine with the 87 + a bottle
    of octane boost.
Better to run the 91 in the first place whenever you can
    get it.

I personally dont like the addatives. In an emergency ok, but not for ongoing use.

What year RXT? Depending on the year, not a bad price. Use www.nada.com as a guid and always try to buy it below the low price listed.

Hmm, sometimes they hit you with a lot of additional fees.
    Low retail is $4,690
    Avg retail is $5,300

Depending on the condition I would try to buy it for no more than $5,000. Buy it now before it really warms up and everyone is starting to pay top dollar for them. Time of the sale is everything.

    Alright. I'll do that.

Thats weird because around here its hard to find ANY RXT for less than 6500.00 even if it has 100hrs on it.

Also, I used to be modding ski's and such a while back but I have forgotten.

I am moving from a Gp1300R to this. I like the RXT because its a 3 seater, but will I be disappointed in its performance compared to a RXP?

I am a wrencher by heart, so there will be many mods that will go onto whatever I buy. I just want to make sure whatever I buy is worth it.
Will the 215hp be around much longer?
