    Hitch mounted vise...

    Nice work

    I went the lazy route and just bought a mount from Harbor Freight.

    i have access to a welder so it was easy pluse i made a plate to bolt my impeller to and clamp in the vise to pitch it with is also in the pic

    This is how I did it. I do alot of pitching and dont want to have to disconnect the trailer to pitch a prop. Plate is set-up so that when the prop is bolted to it the blade being pitched is hanging over the edge and the pitch gauge still has a nice flat surface to sit on,

    I though about this but im going to add gas rack there pluse i have a single trailer so alot less room. Hows that little vise work for prop changes

    I use one that size in my garage. Bought it specifically for that. It was the cheaper one from lowes. 5in I think.
