    Prop help!

Need to know where to start prop wise on my GPR project! Please help with some advise and input. 02 GPR ported Riva Super stock motor with Factory triples,Advent and Riva gas valves. Installing a 07 H/0 pump. Have read that people run 14/20 on modified crafts. Any suggestions? Also brand recommendations? Also Nozzle suggestions? Thanks in advance for any help!!

1200cc ? If it can turn a dynafly 14/20 7800rpm or more that probably going to be the best all around. Some have to set down to a 13/19 to get enought rpms though. But if its setup well it should turn the 14/20

frank, get a good tach, start with a 14/20 DF with a 85mm nozzle. I would start there to see were you are.

That's what I'm thinking I'm going to do! Going to post a WTB for a dF and 85mm nozzle. Hopefully I can pick them up used. I know Lcarlson was looking for a pet tach he had that he might sell. I was going to pm him anyway. He asked about my used cylinders but I'm thinking they are not what he needs. I def don't want to send him something usless..

    I had no problems turning a 14/20 with a 85mm nozzle at 7900 to
7960 rpms on my stock unported 1200 motor, Pro-tec head, and
a Pro-Tec rev limiter. Also with stock reeds and stock carbs.
I think you will be fine with your superstock setup.

    7900 to
7960 rpms that's ideal for my setup correct? Also may be a stupid ? But I'm new to this H/O pump stuff. When I'm looking for a 14/20 prop I would have to say its for a 05 SHO or would it still be the same as a 02 gpr wich the ski itself is??? May be stupid but I'm leanring . Thanks Frank

Frank never buy any prop or pump stuff for the gpr from a fzr or sho the driveshaft diameters are different than the gpr your driveshaft is too small this is what you should look for a 14/20 solas dynafly ( the solas concord is the smaller hub prop for the older o2 gpr remember once you uprgared to an 05 pump you need to order a impeller for a 05 pump) you can get this right here from Jerry this is his price he wont steer you wrong

    Solas YG-DF-14/20 DynaFly Impeller

    $220.00

Solas Concord and Super Camber Impellers will increase low-end thrust and top-end speed. Constructed of high strength stainless steel, Solas Impellers feature a polished hub and exclusive hub-end water seal for reduced cavitation.

I ran my SHO steering nozzle as it was out of the box, I saw no difference in back to back test against my Pro-Tec nozzle.
