    battery fit

Just bought three odyssey batteries and they don't quite fit the battery tray. Should I be worried about them sliding around. There is a tiny bit more room and I can see these things sliding back and forth. Maybe take some 1/4 inch rubber fuel line and put it in the space? What if anything are the other guys doing? Maybe I worry too much?

If you are concerned with the battery shifting, any thin material that will fill the space, and stay put itself, can be used. Do not use metal, just in case it gets loose somehow.

You can probably find some flat plastic material, like PVC trim at a building supply or marine shop, that will slide in there.

Get some black buytl and squish it in the tray next to the battery. it wont move then. That black stuff rolled up in strips and its sticky for sealing windows n stuff. it wont melt, move, harden and you can mold it to fill gaps. its waterproof and electrically neutral.

Stick the free Hydroturf round it then twist your battery straps a couple of times...re-attach and all should be good

LMAO, thanks for the ideas guys, I'll do something with it. I don't like the shifting around it will be doing.

well, my first attempt failed. I had one piece of hose in the battery tray. This is my new set up. I can carry the battery around and the tray won't come off. Going to twist the battery straps after my re-read of this post.
